Privacy Policy

What Right2site does

Right2site is a browser extension that redirects your Google searches directly to the top result, bypassing the search results page. A small overlay widget shows the next few results and a link back to full search results.

Data we do not collect

Right2site does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any account information — there are no accounts
• Your browsing history or the pages you visit
• Your search queries — we do not log or store them
• Any personally identifiable information of any kind

What happens when you search

When you perform a search, your query is sent to our API proxy at api.right2site.com (hosted on Cloudflare), which forwards it to the Brave Search API to retrieve the top results. The query is used only to fetch those results and is not stored by us.

As with any internet request, Cloudflare's infrastructure may log standard request metadata (such as IP address and timestamp) as part of normal operations. This is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy. Brave Search receives the query but sees Cloudflare's IP address, not yours. Brave's handling of queries is governed by Brave's privacy policy.

Extension storage

Right2site stores a small amount of data locally on your device using the browser's built-in storage APIs:

• Settings (such as whether Right2site is paused) are saved in local browser storage and never leave your device.
• Search queries and results are held in session storage only for the duration of a single search — they are cleared when you close the browser or start a new search.

None of this data is transmitted to us.

Advertising

Right2site does not currently show ads. If we introduce ads in the future, they will be based solely on your current search query within the active session — on your device, in the moment. We will not build a profile of you, associate queries with your identity, or share your data with advertisers. This policy will be updated with specifics before any ads are shown.

This website

The Right2site website (www.right2site.com) is a static site with no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts. We do not use cookies.

Children's privacy

Right2site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above. We will notify users via the extension if changes affect how search data is handled.
